Using this site
- Start here on this site, from the Home page
- Log in with your username/password
- If you manage more than one newspaper, you’ll have registered a different user account for EACH of those newspapers
- If you haven’t got a username/password then you must not have registered yet. Check with your publisher for info on how to register.
- still not sure? check with Sylvia from Central Office or Julie Anne (she helps out with this web site)
- Once you are logged in, there will be a blue header bar near the top of every page, showing the account that is logged in and what newspaper that account is managing.
To add an Entry:
- Use the appropriate form and fill in the appropriate fields.
- Fields labeled with an asterisk show they are required to be filled in
- You will be uploading a PDF tearsheet with each form. You can only upload ONE PDF to each form so for certain categories you may need to combine single PDF pages into a Multi-Page PDF. You can use Acrobat Pro, or an online service to do this.
Managing Entries
To review what entries you have submitted so far, there is a link in your blue header bar
You will not be able to edit or delete entries after they have been submitted. If you want us to remove an entry, just let us know the ID number and we’ll take care of that from this end.
If you do submit more entries in a category than you are allowed to, we will only use the most recent one, so be mindful and track what you are entering.
Uploading Tips
- If your entry contains jumps combine your entry into a multiple-page PDF file to make it easier for the judge to read.
- No more than 1 attachments is allowed, so combine your entry into a multiple page PDF to fit that limit.
- PDFs tearsheets only.
File Size concerns
- Please save your PDFs as “Reduced File Size” so the judges don’t have to download excessively large files. The form itself limits files to 20MB, but as a general rule PDFs of tabloid newspaper pages rarely need to be larger than 2 or 3 MB. Saving them as Reduced File Size will save you working time (and us too!)
